2024 marks 18 years of The Flow!

The Flow happy hour features some of the city’s most prominent personalities spinning their favorite tunes for worthy Philadelphia causes.

The Flow began in 2006 as an after-work event for diverse young professionals to network, while also promoting Philadelphia’s status a great place to live and work.

In 2010 the popular “Guest DJ Series” was added, featuring some of the City’s most prominent personalities highlighting worthy area causes by spinning their favorite tunes during the event.

With this format The Flow has helped raise the profile of several extremely worthy Philadelphia causes including Parent Power, The Art Sanctuary, Achieveability, the Philadelphia Urban League, OIC Philadelphia, Big Brothers and Sisters, The Philadelphia Youth Poetry Movement and many others.

Guest DJs have included Mayor Jim Kenney, Mayor Michael Nutter, Councilmembers Kenyatta Johnson, Cindy Bass, Blondell Reynolds Brown and Bobby Henon. Senator Anthony Williams, Representative (now Councilwoman) Cherelle Parker, SRC Board Members Lorene Carey and Sylvia Simms, Good Day Philadelphia's Alex Holley and Quincy Harris, Executive Directors Pat Coulter (Urban League), Marcus Allen (Big Brothers and Sisters), Just Greg Corbin (PYPM) and many others.
